Attached is a quick guide on what the configuration looks like in the PCLI to configure the 128T to use Active Directory as its authentication source. I'm not familiar with how the GUI presents it, but is it possible you're trying to set the "name" of the LDAP configuration element to the IP/hostname of the device? The configuration element's name is only a reference token. The address of the server (IP or FQDN) is configured under the "address" field.
Also, the 128T leverages the underlying Linux's DNS, so the changes you make to resolv.conf apply to both Linux and 128T host name resolution.
I hope this helps!

Can anyone provide additional information on configuring LDAP for authentication? The Authority configuration page has a section for LDAP servers, but it is not accepting IP or Hostname entries. Is there a certain name format required? Also, the DNS nameservers for the base Centos system can be changed by editing /etc/resolv.conf, but I cannot find where the DNS nameserver settings for a 128T router or Conductor.

How do I set up LDAP Access Control with my 128T? In particular, what do I need to do on the LDAP Server side?
